Between the third and fourth week the puppies are able to maintain their own body heat. Their eyes and ears have opened. They are becoming more steady on their feet. I will move them, during the day, into a play pen set up in our main living area in the house. This will expose them to more sights and sounds and life experiences. If the weather is nice I will take them outside for a few minutes of supervised play in the grass. All of this to help build their confidence to new sights, sounds and smells.

It is so fun to be able to watch then playing together. I keep my camera ready to catch funphotos.
